2. Cosmetic Use Only

Lume Skinlabs products are cosmetic products only. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Any information provided on this website, on product packaging, instruction cards, marketing materials, social media, or via customer support is for general cosmetic and informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, dermatological, or professional advice.

3. Results Disclaimer

Individual results may vary depending on skin type, age, lifestyle, consistency of use, and other individual factors.
No specific result or outcome is guaranteed.

4. Patch Test & Skin Sensitivity

We recommend performing a patch test prior to first use, particularly for users with sensitive skin.

Discontinue use immediately if irritation, redness, or discomfort occurs and allow the skin to rest. If symptoms persist, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

5. Proper Use & Misuse

Products must be used strictly in accordance with the instructions provided.

We are not responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from:

  • misuse or incorrect application

  • prolonged wear beyond recommended durations

  • failure to follow care and storage instructions

  • application to broken, irritated, inflamed, or sunburnt skin

  • use in conjunction with products or treatments not recommended in our guidelines

6. Reuse, Hygiene & Personal Use

Reusable silicone patches are intended for personal use only.
Do not share patches with others.

Proper cleaning, drying, and storage between uses is required. Lume Skinlabs is not responsible for issues arising from improper hygiene, storage, or reuse.

7. Product Interactions

Lume Skinlabs does not recommend using patches in conjunction with active skincare ingredients such as retinoids, exfoliating acids, or prescription treatments unless advised by a qualified professional.

We are not responsible for reactions caused by the combined use of third-party skincare products, cosmetic procedures, or prescription treatments.

8. Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Prices may change at any time.

Orders are processed at the price displayed at the time of purchase. Packaging and postage costs are calculated at checkout.

9. Product Descriptions & Images

We endeavour to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate. However:

  • product images are for illustrative purposes only

  • actual appearance may vary

  • we reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions

10. Orders, Availability & Delivery

Product availability is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order.

Once an order is placed, it may not be cancelled unless required by law.

Title and risk in goods pass to you upon dispatch.

11. Consumer Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.

12. Chargebacks & Fraud

We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks where products have been supplied in accordance with the order confirmation and delivery records.

14. User-Generated Content

By submitting reviews, testimonials, images, videos, or other content, you grant Lume Skinlabs a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish, and display such content for marketing, promotional, and operational purposes.

You warrant that you own or have the right to submit such content.

15. Third-Party Statements & Endorsements

Statements made by influencers, affiliates, customers, or other third parties do not necessarily reflect the views of Lume Skinlabs. We are not responsible for representations made by third parties outside of our control.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products.

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supplier disruptions, shipping delays, carrier failures, or customs processing delays.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
